ISRO satellite GSAT-30 launched from French Guiana

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has achieved another major success. ISRO launched GSAT-30 with the help of European rocket Ariane 5-VA 251 from the Space Center in Kouru, French Guiana at 2:35 pm Friday (Indian time). EUTELSAT Connect with GSAT-30 was also launched. GSAT-30 is the first mission of ISRO in the year 2020. ISRO tweeted and informed about this mission. GSAT-30 was placed in orbit around 40 minutes after launch. This communication satellite is 3357 kg. For energy, it has two solar panels and a battery.

Giving information, ISRO said that GSAT-30 will replace INSAT-4A. Its coverage capacity will be much higher. This satellite will bring many major changes in the communication technology of the country. It will work for 15 years in satellite space. ISRO said that GSAT-30 will further strengthen the country's communication system. With this help, along with internet, mobile networks and DTH services will also be expanded.
